MICROHOME

This is a microhome concept which has a total of only 72sqm area. The idea is to provide a living space that is comfortable yet functional. This is achieved by making spaces flexible and multifunctional, for instance in this design a raised platform provides space for a bed that can slide out into the living area providing a guest bed. The raised roof height gives enough space for a master bed to fit into a loft area above the bathroom. All these ideas maximise the use of the spaces. Key to the success of these small spaces is ample natural light and connection with the outdoors, by doing this indoor spaces are visually extended to the exterior.
